“Biking through Kyoto felt very safe. It was challenging and rewarding. Yuta was our amazing guide who taught us about geisha history, Shinto, and Zen Buddhism. I was nervous to try this tour because I am not a strong biker, but the views from the mountains and the backstreets of beautiful neighborhoods made the experience really special.”

“A very hot day in Kyoto but Quinn too great care of us to ensure we were well hydrated. Saw all the sights on our North-West tour and was great to be guided around by Quinn who knew the history behind the sights. Lunched at a 400-year old noodle restaurant - delicious. Cycling through the streets of Kyoto was the highlight, getting to see places and spaces you wouldn't see as a tourist but well worth it. A slight incline to get to the Golden Pavilion but then it was all downhill from there. A great way to see a lot of the city and it's culture. Shout-out to Keith…”

“Philippe was an excellent tour guide. He was very informative, taking us down side streets away from traffic. He was very accommodating with the group, stopping for photos and suggesting us to pose for pictures with great scenes. Philippe asked us our lunch preferences, and as a group we decided to get fresh food at a local grocery and have a picnic. It was fabulous! I would highly recommend this tour. Most of the ride is on flat ground with no difficulty.”

“Biking with Ray was an awesome experience. We connected right away. The bike was light, clean, and brand-new. The seat was very comfortable, and the brakes were very reliable (my career is in automotive and rail brakes!). The route is an excellent mix of city life, rural roads, and forests. Since the entire route is flat (with only a few segments with very light inclines), you can fully immerse yourself in your bike and cultural experience. Ray, an American who has lived in Japan for more than 20 years and has vast experience in the tourism industry, brings a unique perspective and deep knowledge of the Japanese culture and language.…”
